Trip to Mendo

Our little family took a trip up the Mendocino coast to visit some friends of mine. We first went to Gualala (pronounced: wa-la-la) to visit my old roomates from Fort Bragg. We had an eventful stay there, which included a TV falling on Rolan's head and smashing his hand and a real estate office next door catching on fire. With that, we left to stay in Little River at the Inn that I worked at. That night was much more uneventful and relaxing, and we had dinner with my former bosses/owners of the Inn. It was so nice to be by the ocean and with people that I still consider family.

Me, Rolan, and Corbin. I lived with Corbin when he was 8 months old

The Hayes family: took me in when I needed a place to live and treated me like family. Chris is the man responsible for three of my tattoos.

The view from our porch in Gualala, looking over the bluff.

This is what happened when you opened both drawers in the dresser. The dresser was not made to hold such a front-heavy TV.

This is a tame shot of the fire in the real estate office. I took this picture standing next to the car, looking at the back of the building. The windows broke from the heat and the flames were licking out of the building. When we drove by the next day we couldn’t see any damage from the front of the building so we concluded that it must have been pretty well contained.
