Secondly, my mother's day was fantastic. I opened my presents a day early (because neither clayton nor I have any patience [at least none left over after all that rolan demands]). I got an awesome back massager, a movie that i love, and a gorgeous ring! The ring had to be resized, and I was very sad to part with it. and let me just reiterate, its GORGEOUS.
On mother's day I got to sleep in until 8, and woke up to a homemade card, flowers, and pancakes. Then we all went to Muir Beach. We took our usual sand toys, the box kite, but this time we took a full sized shovel. We weren't messing around, we were doing some serious digging. The day was perfect for a beach trip, and we all had a lot of fun.
On the way home from the beach we stopped and had an early dinner at a fondue restaurant called The Melting Pot. The food was delicious (or maybe it just seemed better because its so fun to dip stuff), and rolan was pretty well behaved for sitting so long.
It really was a wonderful day.
